My idea is to create a series of lumen prints that will fade in and out of the image of a plant using a digital negative of the whole plant. I will use photographic chemistry to paint a shape/window to further enhance this idea of fading into something else. I will then put the prints in a small box, as they are not lightfast.

This project idea stems from my deeply embedded connection to the ecology of which I am a part. With this small elegy, I hope to show my gratitude for the plants that I use for my work, and in a greater sense, the respect and reverence we should all have for the plants that sustain us.
